And so now it's time to move onto different things. My next tale will be an old-fashioned love story entitled 'Loved', featuring Lucius Malfoy and an OFC character called Julia. 

Set a few years after the end of the books, the introduction of a pesky new marriage law means Lucius has no choice but to settle into a marriage of convenience that he neither wants nor needs. This story has a few racy elements to it and this means it's therefore going to be unsuitable for FanFiction.net, alas, so will instead be posted on AFF.net.

I shall obviously post on here when the first chapter goes up so you don't miss it.

Happy Valentine's Day everyone.

As a little present to you all I've started posting a new story on FanFiction.Net called 'How To Catch a Potions Master'.

This story is a companion piece to 'The Rose', showing the relationship from Sarah's point of view. As I say in the author's notes at the beginning: You may be surprised at what you read, because this love story may not be quite what you thought it was.

If you haven't read 'The Rose' I suggest you tackle that first, although it doesn't matter too much if you haven't, although you will have missed a great story. Go on, go and read 'The Rose' and then follow it on with 'How to Catch a Potions Master'. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I have posted two chapters to start with as the Prologue is extremely brief.

The Rose - Chapter One

Today I have begun posting a new story on Fanfiction.net called 'The Rose', a romance featuring everyone's favourite Potions Master (no, not Horace Slughorn — as if!) 

The Rose - Chapter One

Initially this started life as a bittersweet little drabble about Snape receiving a Valentine’s Day gift, but then it grew and suddenly it was a proper tale. The story is AU, as it begins in the seventh year of Harry Potter’s time at school but completely ignores anything that happened in the Deathly Hallows and pretty much anything after about halfway through the Half Blood Prince. So in this story the war hasn’t yet happened, although Voldemort is in the process of consolidating his grip on the Ministry of Magic, and none of the major players have died (although that doesn’t mean they won’t in the future as war may well be coming, and, of course, our beloved Severus Snape is back to being the Potions Master.

It's not in any way lemony - hence it's home on Fanfiction.net, so everyone can read it.
